Designing a Unified Experience for Serfinsa

I led the design efforts across the creation of the design system, foundational guidelines, and the redesign of the billing portal. This included defining core foundations such as typography, color, and spacing, as well as designing and documenting reusable components.

The Problem

Serfinsa lacked a unified design language across its digital products, resulting in inconsistent user experiences, slower development cycles, and inefficiencies in scaling new features.

The billing portal, in particular, presented usability challenges due to unclear information hierarchy and fragmented UI patterns.

The Goal

To create a scalable and consistent design system that would standardize UI components and foundations, while redesigning the billing portal to improve usability, clarity, and overall user experience.

The objective was to align design and development, accelerate product delivery, and ensure a cohesive experience across platforms.

Concept

We developed a comprehensive design system built on solid foundations such as typography, color, spacing, and components, ensuring consistency and reusability. Alongside this, we redesigned the billing portal with a focus on clear information architecture, intuitive interactions, and accessibility.

The result was a more efficient workflow for teams and a cleaner, more user-centered experience for end users.
